The year 2002 saw the birth of a new era in the life of Kafui A. Prebbie when he started his voluntry coordination activities with the oneVillage Foundation - Ghana. Since then, he has gone ahead to develop projects and programmes that have been implemented by the foundation including:

* The "Catch IT Young" Project - ICT Clubs in Pre-tetiary Educational Institutions.

* The "Sports People That Care" - Providing support for the HIV infected and affected through sports.

* The SUFIA Project - Providing Support for the HIV Infected and Affected and the volnurable.

* The Winneba Open Digital Village Project - A center for Capacity Building and Sustainable Development through ICT

* The Simpa Open Summits - A series of on-going Capacity Building or Training Sessions at the Winneba Open Digital Village (WODiV).

* The WODiV Community Wireless Network - A local wireless network for the Winneba Region to improve on education and community development.

In 2005 Kafui created the Winneba Linux User Group to expand the frontiers of Open Source Applications for development especially in African higher educational institutions.

In 2007 he also assumed the role of the West African Coordinator for FLOSS4Edu Initiative (Contents for Africans by Africans)
